The stand frame was already completed today. I like my frame tall and straight. Some might wonder why it looked different than the photos in ebay.
Although it does not bother me while stitching, I have to say that the frame sways a bit, like a typical stand lamp because it is supported only by 2 legs. (i guess it will not move that much if supported on 4 legs like a table, but I do not know how it would be designed so that it would only cover a smaller space, and will not look like a table or as heavy. lol.)
still I think this product is good because it is space saving, modular and affordable. It can be easily disassembled for traveling. It came in 2 tubes which I can easily carry.
The copy holder is sold separately and so is the clamp frame holder, but I did not assemble it. I also purchased a wing nut tightening tool. You can check the items in ebay here: kevscornershops

I’m glad you’re getting some good use out of it! I bought the clamp version because I need full access to the back of the piece (which the easel type blocks a little) and because I don’t need to turn the piece over. Because I’m working on a heavy 24″ scroll frame, I use the stand to hold one end of the frame and I rest the other end on a book on a table, so it’s supported on both sides. That does make it very stable. If I didn’t do that, it would wobble a bit if I used it alone with a heavy frame. Maybe you could try tightening the wing-nuts as tight as possible and putting something heavy like a brick on each foot.

Hi Avital. I am not really bothered by the wobbling. can even rest my arm or hands on it and it will not fall. I guess it is just because of the way it is designed, y´know, in the middle is just one column. Most lamps of the same design will also wobble is touched. ^_^
I do like it and I am bringing it with me to shows, if I have to do demo-stitching.
I am so curious how you use your frame stand. lol. You bought the table frame stand, right? I can´t visualize the frame with one end on a table and some books. ^_^

Thank you for the photos. I inherited a box of parts & pieces from my father, a talented needleworker. Your photos are so good that I recognize what they are and how they can be assembled. I apparently have a frame I didn’t know I have. I can’t wait to try to assemble it.

Congrats on your new stand! I hope you really end up loving it. I do believe my floor stand is my all-around favorite tool – finding one you really like is important!
This looks like a nice set-up. I like the way the frame rests on the arms with the pegs. That’s a good idea, and it looks as if moving the frame (turning it over, etc.) would be very easy.
