I mentioned in my earlier blog entry from which book the images are from. https://worksofhands.wordpress.com/2010/09/08/melon-rose/
You can view the book in my library blog. http://worksofhandslibrary.wordpress.com/
You can read more about Pierre-Joseph Redouté (1759-1840) in the internet.
I can also sketch roses as I you can see here in my flickr album. http://www.flickr.com/photos/vincentvaliente/sets/72157615373305915/
Rose 170 is my own sketch. Redouté only made 169 rose watercolor paintings in the book Les Roses. https://worksofhands.wordpress.com/2010/09/18/irene-rose/
bella questa tecnica di ricamo. Complimenti da Elisabetta
La ringrazio molto Elisabetta.
